Description: Atlas Obscura calls this one of the 48 cool, hidden, and unusual things to do in Minneapolis. Guinness World Records once considered it the "quietest place on earth." Orfield Labs performs sensory research and product testing. They specialize in designing for perceptual and cognitive disabilities, and have strong interest in projects related to aging, autism, mental illness, PTSD, ADHD, deafness, and blindness.

NOTE: AIHA-UMS is subsidizing the cost of this tour. Without the subsidy, the cost per person is $55. Lunch is not included. An informal networking gathering afterwards is being planned at a nearby establishment.
